Box Office Hair is a destination for luxury hair artistry in Winter Springs, Florida. Every guest receives the unhurried attention, technical mastery, and refined experience that define our salon. The policies below exist to protect that experience — for you, for the guests around you, and for the artists who care for you.
A clear agreement is a form of hospitality. By booking, confirming, or receiving any service or purchase at Box Office Hair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these policies, which form a binding agreement between you and Satnaam International LLC.
In brief: We are by appointment. Your time is reserved exclusively for you, and a card on file is required to book.
Box Office Hair operates by appointment. Each appointment reserves a stylist’s time exclusively for you; appointments are for the requested services and are not a drop-in or social gathering space.
A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve any appointment. Your card is held securely and charged only as described in Sections 3 and 9.
Color correction, hair extensions, bridal, and any appointment of two (2) hours or more require a non-refundable deposit of $50 or 50% of the estimated service, applied to your final balance.
By providing your phone number and email, you consent to receive appointment confirmations and reminders by text and email. Confirming an appointment is your acknowledgement of these policies (see Section 24).
In brief: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice (48 for long services). Late cancellations and no-shows are charged to the card on file.
We kindly request advance notice so we may offer your reserved time to another guest:
| Notice Given | Standard Services | Long / Specialty Services* |
|---|---|---|
| More than 24 hours | No charge | No charge |
| Less than 24 hours | $35 or 50% of service | 50% of reserved service |
| No-show / no-call | 100% of service | 100% of service; deposit forfeited |
*Long / specialty services include color correction, extensions, bridal, and any appointment of two (2) hours or more, which require 48 hours’ notice.
Fees are charged to the card on file. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may require prepayment or a non-refundable deposit for future bookings, or may end our ability to reserve future appointments.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may shorten your service to protect the next guest’s appointment, or reschedule it, and the full service price may still apply. Arriving on time ensures you receive the complete experience you reserved.
In brief: We are a fixed-price, no-discount luxury salon. Prices are estimates until consultation and may change at any time.
Box Office Hair is a fixed-price, no-discount salon. Our pricing reflects the skill of our artists, the quality of our products, and the elevated experience we deliver. We do not offer discounts, price-matching, coupons, or negotiation, and we never reduce our standards to reduce a price.
All prices are estimates confirmed at consultation. Final pricing depends on hair length, density, condition, and the time and product required, and may differ from any figure quoted online, by phone, or on our menu.
Prices, service offerings, and our menu are subject to change at any time without prior notice.
Posted and quoted prices do not include applicable Florida sales tax on retail products or optional gratuity.
We make every effort to ensure accuracy, but we are not bound by, and reserve the right to correct, any typographical, pricing, or descriptive error on our website, menu, booking platform, or marketing.
Any promotion, package, or series is limited, non-transferable, may not be combined with other offers, has no cash value, and is subject to its own stated terms.
Gratuity is never expected and is always at your discretion.
Payment in full is due at the completion of your service. We accept major credit and debit cards and other methods displayed at the salon.
A card on file is required to book and may be charged for deposits, cancellation, and no-show amounts under this agreement.
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it directly; initiating a chargeback without contacting us delays resolution and may affect future booking privileges.
In brief: Every result starts with an honest consultation — please bring reference photos.
During your consultation, your stylist will assess your hair’s history and condition, discuss what is realistically achievable, and agree on a shared vision and a fair estimate of time and cost.
We warmly encourage reference photos — a saved image communicates your goal far more clearly than words alone.
Going significantly lighter, removing previous color, or repairing compromised hair may require more than one session to do safely. Your stylist will always prioritize the health of your hair.
Please share your full hair history — prior color, keratin or smoothing treatments, henna, at-home products, medications, and sensitivities — so we can care for you safely. We rely on the accuracy of what you tell us.
In brief: Tell us within 24 hours and we’ll make it right with a complimentary re-do.
Your confidence is our finest work. If something is not right, we want to make it right with a complimentary re-do, subject to the following:
Please notify us within twenty-four (24) hours of your appointment. Approved re-dos are scheduled within seven (7) days.
Please return so the same stylist can visually inspect the work in person; approved adjustments are completed at no additional charge.
A re-do addresses the originally agreed-upon result. A change of mind or a new goal is a new service, priced accordingly.
We cannot offer a complimentary re-do if your hair has been colored, chemically treated, or altered by you or another salon after your visit.
Corrective color is a multi-session process; re-do terms do not apply to corrective work (see Section 11).
In brief: Services are non-refundable (we re-do instead). Unopened products: 7 days. Gift cards never expire.
Because hair services are personal and performed in real time, service fees are non-refundable. Our commitment to your satisfaction is honored first through the complimentary re-do in Section 8.
In the rare worst-case situation where a re-do is genuinely not possible and the concern cannot be resolved, a partial or full refund may be issued at the sole discretion of salon management, case-by-case, after an in-person inspection. This is an act of goodwill, not an entitlement.
Unopened, unused retail products in original packaging may be returned within seven (7) days with proof of purchase. Opened or used products cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons. Our retail refund policy is posted at the point of sale as required by Florida Statute § 501.142 and is available in writing on request.
Deposits are non-refundable but are applied to the booked service when the appointment is honored under this agreement.
Custom-ordered items, including extension hair, are non-refundable once ordered or installed (see Section 12).
Consistent with Florida Statute § 501.95, gift cards do not expire and carry no fees; they are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Color, lightening, perms, and smoothing treatments are chemical processes. Even when performed correctly by a licensed professional, individual results vary with each guest’s unique hair condition and history.
We will always advise you honestly about what is safe and achievable, and may decline or modify a request that would compromise the health of your hair.
Lifting darker or previously colored hair to a lighter shade often requires multiple sessions. We will never rush a process in a way that risks damage.
A strand and/or patch test may be recommended or required; declining a recommended test is at your own risk and may require a signed waiver.
In brief: On box-dyed, previously treated, or damaged hair we cannot guarantee a result — a signed waiver is required.
Color correction is the most complex work we perform. When hair has been colored at home (“box dye”), treated with henna, previously lightened, or chemically serviced elsewhere, its internal condition cannot be fully known in advance. For this reason, we do not and cannot guarantee a specific result on previously-treated, box-dyed, or compromised hair.
Correction typically requires multiple sessions over time and is quoted and charged per session.
Possible outcomes include uneven lift, residual warmth or banding, the need to remain at a darker target to protect hair integrity, and — to preserve the health of the hair — the need to cut length.
A signed Color Correction & Chemical Service Consent & Waiver is required before we begin any corrective work.
Corrective-service fees are non-refundable, and the complimentary re-do policy (Section 8) does not apply to corrective work.
Extension hair is custom-ordered for you and, as a custom item, is non-refundable once ordered or installed (Florida Statute § 501.142 exempts custom-made goods from the refund rule).
A non-refundable deposit covering the cost of hair is required to order. Final results depend on your natural hair’s condition and length.
Extensions require proper home care and scheduled maintenance appointments. Failure to maintain them, or use of improper products and tools, may damage your hair or the extensions and voids any adjustment.
In brief: Color and style longevity depend on home care; we’re not responsible for fade or damage from improper aftercare.
The longevity and condition of your result depend significantly on how you care for your hair at home. To protect your investment, we recommend professional home-care products and will advise you on proper care.
We are not responsible for color fade, brassiness, dryness, breakage, or other changes caused by sun exposure, chlorine or salt water, hard water, heat styling, medications, or the use of non-recommended or over-the-counter products after your service.
Individual results vary, and hair continues to respond to environment and care after you leave the salon.
Consistent with manufacturer and FDA guidance, a skin patch test 24–48 hours before a color or tint service is recommended for new guests and anyone with a history of sensitivity.
You are responsible for disclosing allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions, recent medications, pregnancy, and any medical condition that may affect a service. Our products may contain common allergens; we rely on your disclosures.
If you proceed without a recommended patch or strand test, you may be asked to sign a consent and waiver acknowledging that risk.
In brief: For everyone’s safety, we may decline service for lice, scalp infection, or other contagious conditions.
To protect every guest and our team, and consistent with Florida cosmetology sanitation standards, our stylists may decline or discontinue a service where there is reason to believe a guest has head lice, ringworm, an open sore, an infected or inflamed scalp, or another contagious condition. Service may resume upon appropriate treatment or a physician’s clearance. This protects you and everyone around you.
In brief: Only the guest in the chair directs the service. Companions wait in the front lounge — never at the color bar or styling stations.
Only the guest receiving the service — or, for a minor or a guest who needs assistance, their parent or legal guardian — communicates the desired result to the stylist.
Companions are welcome in our front lounge, but must remain seated in the front reception area and may not enter, stand in, or hover over the color bar, the styling and cutting stations, or the shampoo area, and may not direct, instruct, supervise, or interrupt the stylist — including on color formulation, cutting, or technique. Divided direction puts your result and our artists’ focus at risk.
If a companion has a specific look in mind, please share it as a reference photo during the consultation, with the guest’s agreement, so we can evaluate and agree on it together.
Box Office Hair is not responsible for dissatisfaction arising from instructions given by anyone other than the guest receiving the service, or for results requested against our professional recommendation.
To preserve a calm environment and protect safety, we ask that you bring no more than 2 companions, and that all companions and children remain in designated lounge areas away from chemicals and heated tools.
In brief: Our salon is a quiet, respectful space — no raised voices, abusive language, or disruption.
Box Office Hair is a welcoming, professional, and tranquil environment for every guest and team member. We treat you with warmth and respect, and ask the same in return.
We ask all guests and companions to keep voices considerate, phone calls quiet, and conduct respectful of other guests’ experience.
Profane, abusive, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory language or behavior toward staff or guests, and intoxication, are not permitted and disturb the peace of the salon.
In brief: We may respectfully decline or pause a service when we cannot deliver our standard of result or maintain a safe, calm space.
We reserve the right to decline, pause, or end a service — without obligation to complete it — in cases of disrespectful, harassing, threatening, or abusive conduct; intoxication; or any behavior that compromises the safety or calm of the salon.
Our name is on every result. If, during consultation or before a service begins, our stylist or management determines in professional judgment that we cannot deliver the standard of result we are proud of — because the requested outcome is not achievable on your hair, because expectations cannot be aligned, or because the surrounding conditions (such as pressure, hovering, or tension) would prevent the artist from working safely and with full focus — we may respectfully decline or postpone the service. Where we decline before beginning, any deposit for that service is returned.
This protects you from a result that would not meet our standard, and it protects the integrity of our work and the wellbeing of our artists.
Attorney note: any decision to decline service must be based solely on conduct, safety, or the feasibility of the service — never on a guest’s race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or other protected characteristic. Confirm wording with your Florida attorney.
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must consent to the service and remain present throughout.
For their safety, children must remain seated with their accompanying adult and away from styling stations, the shampoo area, the color bar, heated tools, and chemicals. Unattended children cannot be supervised by staff, and the salon is not responsible for unattended children.
Chemical services on a minor require the on-site consent of the parent or guardian.
Under Florida law, a parent or guardian’s signature does not waive a minor’s claims arising from the salon’s own negligence; it acknowledges the inherent nature of the service (confirm with your attorney per Fla. Stat. § 744.301).
In brief: Out of respect for guests with allergies, pets are not permitted — trained service animals are always welcome.
To protect guests with allergies and maintain a clean, calm, sanitary environment, pets are not permitted in the salon.
Trained service animals are always welcome. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida Statute § 413.08, a service animal (a dog or miniature horse individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability) may accompany its handler in all guest areas. We will never ask about your disability or request documentation; we may only ask whether the animal is a service animal required because of a disability and what task it is trained to perform.
Emotional support, comfort, and therapy animals are not service animals under the law and, with appreciation for everyone’s comfort and safety, we kindly ask that they remain at home.
A handler remains responsible for a service animal, which must be housebroken and under control; an animal that is out of control or poses a direct threat may be asked to leave.
Please keep personal items with you and remove jewelry, glasses, and valuables before service. Box Office Hair is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen belongings, including those of companions and children.
Color and chemical products can permanently stain clothing and accessories. We provide protective capes; please avoid wearing items you would be upset to see marked. The salon is not liable for damage to clothing or personal items.
Items left at the salon and unclaimed after 30 days may be donated or discarded.
In brief: Video cameras protect the premises in non-private areas; for your privacy, our cameras do not record audio.
For the safety of our guests, our team, and the premises, Box Office Hair uses video security cameras in non-private areas of the salon. Cameras are never placed in restrooms or other private areas. Conspicuous signage is posted, and by entering you consent to video recording for security and safety purposes.
Consistent with Florida’s all-party consent law (Fla. Stat. § 934.03), our security cameras do not record audio of conversations. Recordings are used only for security, safety, and legal purposes and are not shared except as permitted by law.
With your permission, we may photograph your results for our portfolio and marketing. You may decline at any time, and we will honor that choice. Photography of a minor requires the guardian’s consent.
Please do not photograph or record other guests or staff without their consent.
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
By providing your contact information, you consent to receive service-related and, where you opt in, marketing communications by phone, text, and email. Message and data rates may apply; you may opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, you agree to be responsible for, and to indemnify and hold harmless Box Office Hair and Satnaam International LLC from, any loss, damage, or injury caused by you, your companions, your children, or any animal you bring to the salon.
Box Office Hair is not liable for delays, rescheduling, or closures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, hurricanes, power or water loss, illness, or emergencies. In such cases we will reschedule affected appointments and honor any deposits toward the rescheduled service.
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights and is intended to be clear, unambiguous, and specific, as Florida law requires.
I understand that hair services — including cutting, styling, coloring, lightening, chemical treatments, and extensions — carry inherent risks, including uneven results, color variation, breakage, scalp irritation, allergic reaction, and damage to compromised hair, even when performed competently.
I confirm I have disclosed all relevant allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, medications, and prior hair treatments, and I accept responsibility for the accuracy of that information.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, I release and hold harmless Box Office Hair, Satnaam International LLC, and their owners, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, and expenses arising out of ordinary negligence in connection with services I voluntarily request and receive.
Nothing in this agreement releases the salon from liability for gross negligence, willful or intentional misconduct, or any liability that cannot be waived under Florida law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the salon’s total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.
Enforceability of release language depends on precise drafting and signature. Your Florida attorney must finalize this section and the standalone consent/waiver form.
In brief: Tell us first so we can make it right — and you are always free to share an honest review.
If anything falls short, please raise it with salon management first so we can resolve it directly and in good faith — almost always the fastest path to a happy outcome.
You are always free to share your honest opinion and reviews of your experience. We welcome candid feedback and do not restrict it in any way.
Estimates of time and price are approximate; services may run longer than expected, and individual results vary.
Our website, menu, and marketing are provided for general information and are not a contract for, or guarantee of, a specific result; we may update them at any time without notice.
Booking made through a third-party platform (such as our online booking provider) is also subject to that provider’s terms; we are not responsible for platform errors, outages, or availability.
All salon content, branding, photographs, and materials are the property of Satnaam International LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Our failure to enforce any provision on one occasion is not a waiver of that or any other provision.
To the extent permitted by Florida law, any claim relating to a service or purchase must be brought within one (1) year of the service or purchase date.
You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it to a successor of the business. Section headings are for convenience only. This agreement is made in English.
This document, together with any signed consent or waiver and our Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between you and the salon, and may be updated from time to time; the version in effect at your visit applies. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute shall be venued in Seminole County, Florida.
We ask that any concern first be raised with management so we may resolve it directly (see Section 28).
[Optional, attorney’s choice: a mediation, arbitration, or attorney-fee provision may be added here.]
Do you offer discounts or price-matching?
No. Box Office Hair is a fixed-price, no-discount luxury salon in Winter Springs. Our pricing reflects the artistry, products, and experience we deliver, and is confirmed at your consultation. Prices may change at any time.
Do you offer refunds?
Hair services are non-refundable; we make things right first through a complimentary re-do when you notify us within 24 hours. In a rare worst-case situation where a re-do is not possible, a refund may be issued at management’s discretion after an in-person inspection. Unopened retail products may be returned within seven (7) days.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice (48 hours for color correction, extensions, and appointments two hours or longer). Late cancellations and no-shows are charged to the card on file.
Can someone come with me to my appointment?
Companions are welcome in our front lounge. To protect your result, only the guest receiving the service directs it; we kindly ask companions to remain seated in the reception area and not approach the color bar or styling stations. Share any specific vision as a reference photo during the consultation.
Can you guarantee my color correction?
On hair that has been box-dyed, previously treated, or damaged, we cannot guarantee a specific result; correction is usually a multi-session process and requires a signed waiver before we begin.
Do you allow pets?
Out of respect for guests with allergies, pets are not permitted. Trained service animals are always welcome in accordance with the ADA and Florida law.
I have read and understood the Box Office Hair Salon Policies, Procedures & Client Service Agreement, including the No-Discount Philosophy (Section 5), the Refund and Re-Do policies (Sections 8–9), the Service Direction & Guest Conduct policy (Section 16), and the Assumption of Risk, Release & Limitation of Liability (Section 27). I agree to be bound by these terms.
