Box Office Hair is an appointment-only luxury salon in Winter Springs — minutes from Oviedo, a short drive from Orlando. We are hiring one experienced hair stylist.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a W-2 employed position at Box Office Hair in Winter Springs, Florida.
Box Office Hair is a commission-based salon, and stylists may also receive tips. Specific compensation details are discussed transparently during the hiring process.
Full-time or part-time may be considered for the right stylist.
We put the employment structure in writing early because we would rather you have the facts up front than discover them three conversations in.
THE WORK
Our guests come to us for considered, natural-looking work — the kind that has to be right the first time. Day to day, that includes:
You are not expected to have mastered every one of these. Very few stylists have. We are looking for real strength in color and cutting, and genuine interest in the rest.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are less interested in a polished résumé than in what you can actually do and how you carry yourself while you do it.
ROOM TO GROW
Every strong stylist has a list of things she still wants to get better at. That is not a weakness. That is what a career looks like.
Hair extensions are a good example. Extension work is a real strength of this salon, and experience with it is genuinely valuable — but it is not a requirement. If you have the hands, the eye and the willingness to learn the method properly, we would rather teach you our way than pass on a stylist who is otherwise excellent.
The same is true of any single technique. What we cannot teach is judgment, standards and care. Those you bring with you.

Experienced stylists licensed in other states are welcome to explore this opportunity with us.
A few things stated plainly, because this part matters. A Florida cosmetology license is required before performing cosmetology services in Florida. Every stylist’s situation is different, and eligibility for licensure by endorsement depends on your individual circumstances. You should verify your own eligibility directly with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR).
